Is it better to have loved and then lost, or to never have loved at all? That is this hotel experience in a nutshell. Everything was exceptional from the pillows to the concierge, to the hotel Grill and the ambience. The staff was exceptionally friendly at reception. The rooms were incredibly large, clean, and well-furnished. The beds are turned down for the night and you quite literally sink into the pillows like Goldilocks. There were also an abundance of amenities from the obligatory toilitries, to complimentary sewing kits and snacks/wine upon arrival. The stay also included laundry and shoe shine service, conveniently made available within the room. Attention to detail is an obvious utmost priority here! The Hotel Grill was another phenomenal experience. Our server(s) (a young blonde gentleman and another young man with a crystal tennis bracelet) were knowledgeable and accommodated our tight schedule. The food was a delight, we had the chateau briande and the truffle-parmesan pasta. Even the doormen were so incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us without hesitation and seeing that we got where we needed to be with a taxi no more than 5 minutes away at any given time. I truly did not want to leave, and I found myself wanting to live here like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. 10/10!!!

Such an iconic place to be... beautifully decorated for Christmas, most outstanding cuisine and bar, immeculate rooms and service. Great shower, supercomfy bed. Fantastic staff, on all levels. Happy to come back.

Excellent location. Our room has a balcony facing the lake which was lovely. Staff at the restaurants were all very nice and helpful. Food was delicious.

The hotel was very elegant and classy and the rooms were really clean and tidy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is really good very well situated and close to restaurants and shopping area

Fabulous hotel located perfectly near a beautiful lake in the heart of Hamburg. The building is beautifuly furnished and rooms are exquisitelly decorated, one of the best hotels I've ever visited, everything here is pure art. The staff takes customer services to another level, probably that's how royalty feels like 👌 Breakfast is absolutely delicious and served perfectly. Congratulations! Will definitely return, I highly recommend this hotel if visiting Hamburg.

the location, as we could reach all destinations in Hamburg with U Bahn and Bus. Also the Reception with help, complicated payment arrangements with foreign currency etc. Room always in excellent condition. And your top floor sun deck for afternoon tea and snacks, as well as your food seating arrangement outside along the Binnen Alster.

The hotel is historical and very centre located in the city. Most of the shops are just in a walking distance. If you had chance to have view room, you can also look to the lake. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are perfectly designed and had various choice of bathroom amenities.

The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten is a delight! It is truly and olde world fantasy - with modern glamour. The room was large and expansive, and equipped with everything you could want - gorgeous bathroom and furnishings. The lobby and lounge are beautifully decorated, and serve for any meeting or encounter you could imagine. The real delight though is the staff - they are warm, friendly, funny, and clearly very proud and invested in where they work - and wanting to share that excitement with you. We had a fabulous dinner in the grill - very well taken care of, and had breakfast in the beautiful Condi room - the buffet was amazing - so beautifully displayed and well thought out. You overlook the lake in Hamburg, and are well situated for all this beautiful city has to offer. I would love to go back - it's exceptional,
